Rest in a peaceful place Mike

It was always nice to have Mike fly by you in a race at three times your speed and offer a kind word and encouraging comment. His smile was infectious, and his great attitude made everything seem a little easier. So sorry his child won't know him, but I know Mike's spirit will live on in his baby and in those of us who remember him so fondly.

Vail has suffered a great loss. What a super great nice guy. You will be missed.

Ride on Mike. I only knew you as a competitor (RAAM, 24HOM), but it was clear that you were class. Gone too soon. God's Grace to you and blessings to your family.

It is amazing all of the support our family has received. Mike certainly did touch so many lives. I am his cousin and because we lived in Phoenix until recently I didn't spend a lot of time with him but was at the memorial and saw the community outpouring in person. Thanks so much to all who have come together for Mike, Maribel, Mike's parents Jack and Lynne, and his brother Jeremy.
